// Artist: Nikki Sharp
Nikki Sharp is a Sydney and Southern Highlands based Sculptor whose body of work incorporates small and large-scale sculptural works as well as outdoor installations and location-specific commissions. Through multiple mediums including resin, cement, clay, plasticine, plaster, found objects and bronze, in a predominantly figurative way, her work explores recurring themes of relationships and ‘the roller coaster of life’.
After commencing her formal art studies at the Academia di Cesare Crespi (Milan) in 1997, she returned to Australia in 1999, to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the National Arts School.
Nikki has featured in more than 25 exhibitions including Sculpture by the Sea Bondi, Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe and the Robin Gibson Gallery’s Annual Sculpture Survey.
Nikki’s sculptures can be found in sculpture parks, commercial spaces and private homes.
